The Real-Estate Fund invests in renovations and adaptations of their purpose-built facilities for the elderly that often have physical disabilities and specific needs.
At Ulica XIV. divizije 12 in Rogaška Slatina, the Fund owns the facility with 17 purpose-built rental housing units for retirees and senior citizens. At the beginning of August 2019, the Fund invested into the energy efficiency of the building, and the facility was architecturally adjusted. A new elevator shaft was installed, and a new façade coat applied. Furthermore, the roof was refurbished and insulated, the balconies and pantries renovated, and LED-lightning was installed in all halls. The cost of all these renovations came to approximately 400.000 EUR.
The outdoor elevator means an architecturally adjusted access to the apartments and thus a higher quality of life for the residents, as the living area has not been reduced, but the common grounds have. The new façade coat will provide for a more comfortable and energy efficient living, and the quality LED-lightning in the common areas of the facility will significantly improve the quality of life.
In accordance with all the technical and legal terms, as well as with its financial possibilities, the Fund regularly renovates and adjusts their facilities and apartments to meet the specific needs of seniors, thus improving the quality of life. In 2019, the Fund plans similar projects and elevator installations in 8 buildings throughout Slovenia. We believe that the residents at Ulica XIV. divizije 12 in Rogaška Slatina will be very happy with the renovations of their facility.
